Types of Invisible Hinges

There are many different types of Invisible Hinges, including hinges with an SKG** or SKG*** quality mark. Also called safety hinges. These are often mounted on front and back doors because of their safety class and enormous load capacity of up to 80kg per hinge! The anti-theft claw also provides additional burglary protection.

Dimensions of an Invisible Hinges

Our Invisible Hinges are available in the following dimensions: 76 by 76 or 89 by 89 mm. Both sizes are available with rounded corners or straight corners. The thickness of the hinges can vary between 2.5 mm and 3 mm. To find the perfect size for your door, we recommend using our handy filters.

Advantages of an Invisible Hinge

Invisible Hinges have many advantages over a normal hinge. For example, bearing hinges have a longer lifespan due to the low friction of the metal parts. As mentioned above, they often also have a higher load capacity than standard pin hinges.

Disadvantages of Invisible Hinges

Invisible Hinges are generally slightly more expensive than a standard hinge. This has to do with the high load-bearing capacity, but also with the bearings that are incorporated in the hinges.
