The AXA Titan can handle an impressive load capacity of 180 kg with just three hinges per door. Thanks to the double roller technology of the hinge leaves, the Titan has great strength in both vertical and horizontal directions. If a door closer or door stop is used and the maximum load capacity of 180 kg is not exceeded, three hinges are sufficient.

Maximum safety class

The AXA Titan has an innovative locking system that blocks the hinge pin, making a thief's claw unnecessary. Thanks to this system, the AXA Titan achieves the SKG*** certification with only three hinges per door in combination with resistance class 3 (WK3). It also meets the requirements of the Police Quality Mark for Safe Living.

The AXA Titan was developed in collaboration with the carpentry industry, with a particular focus on saving time when preparing the door and frame. The Titan also offers advantages when installing the hinge and hanging the door, because only three hinges are required.

Easily interchangeable

With a total thickness of 8 mm, the AXA Titan fits exactly into the existing recess of an 89 x 89 x 3 mm hinge.

No thief's claw required

The absence of a thief's claw saves time when preparing the frame, because no additional recess is required. This makes finishing easier and reduces the risk of wood rot.

Low maintenance

Thanks to the unique bearing combination, the hinge requires little maintenance. The steel hinge is galvanized and extra protected with Topcoat®, making it extremely resistant to weather influences. An additional advantage is that due to the absence of a recess for a thief's claw, there is less chance of dirt accumulation and moisture, which contributes to the durability of the wood and paintwork.

Complies with NEN-EN 1935 & NEN 5096 standards

The safety hinges amply meet the CE requirements according to NEN-EN 1935 and are SKG certified for resistance class 3, in line with the requirements of NEN 5096 according to the Building Decree for doors.
