A DX Mortice Additional Lock DX SKG is used as additional security on stubby wooden front and rear doors, which are used everywhere in residential construction. Mortise additional locks are used in single-family homes, but also in shared homes such as student houses or apartment complexes.

For optimal burglary-resistant function, the star lock is mounted under the main lock, at knee height. By turning the cross key, the steel pins are slid into the locking cup, which locks the door in an extra place and therefore secures it. This means that burglars have less chance and this product therefore meets all the requirements for use within the Police Quality Mark for Safe Living (PKVW).

A DX Insert Side Lock DX SKG is characterized by the fact that, unlike a surface-mounted side lock, it is recessed into the door. After installation, the door can be locked from the inside as well as from the outside, so you don't have to worry about being locked out. A pin lock does not have a latch, so a cross key is always required to lock or unlock.
