Dynaplus® fitting screws are specifically designed for mounting window and door fittings. A crucial feature of these screws is their extraordinary combination of strength and flexibility. This minimizes the risk of the screw head breaking off during insertion. In addition, the screw head is compact and free of milling ribs, so that the zinc layer of the fitting or hinge is not damaged during installation.

These screws are available in two sizes: the 4.0×40 fitting screws with a head diameter of Ø 7.0 mm, which fit perfectly into the screw holes of turn-tilt fittings and striker plates. They are very popular in the carpentry industry. The 4.5×40 fitting screws with a head diameter of Ø 8.0 mm fit accurately into the screw holes of door hinges. Due to their larger diameter, they are excellent for solving problems when replacing hinges in old screw holes. The lower head shape of the fitting screw ensures a sleek finish in the screw holes of the fitting.

The special cross-section drill point pre-drills efficiently and prevents splitting of the wood, resulting in significant pull-out strength of the screw. As a result, these fitting screws may carry the SKH-98-08 quality mark for burglar-resistant facade carpentry and they are approved for use in security fittings according to the Police Quality Mark for Safe Living.

For situations where white or black coated hardware is used, hardware screws with a white or black head are also available. This provides extra flexibility when matching the screw head with the hardware of your choice.
